GM

From World of Kung Fu Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Admins (administrators) are people working for [VestGame Entertainment], as developers or game administrators. GS (Game Sages) are typically volunteers helping out. GMs (game masters), the term, refers to someone with special powers in the game. Not all admins and Game Sages have GM powers, some only concern themselves with forums or internal work.

GM powers include the ability to kick people from the game, teleport between maps, help those that need it, and more. Different GMs have different access levels, so don't expect a random GS to be able to ban people. Not that they would do so on request, anyway.

Non-admin GMs often have special account names in the form of test# or GM#, to separate their personal accounts from their "work accounts".

There are approx. 5 active GMs and 4 active GSs on the game, please note that the GMs work out of Shanghai, China so their hours will be very different than ours. That is also one of the reasons for the GS's that are on almost every minute of the day. The suggested method of contacting a GM/GS is through the official GM channel n the game or via a pm directly to the official.
