World of Kung Fu Wiki is a community that aims to create the best resource for the World of Kung Fu , a MMORPG created by VestGame Entertainment. It was released in November 2007 for closed beta, on the PC. We are currently editing over 432 articles.

"World of Kung Fu" Announces Major Upgrade

[Shanghai, April 30th, 2008] - VestGame Entertainment has announced that the latest version of its popular 3D martial arts game “World of Kung Fu” will be released this week. World of Kung Fu (WoKF) is a free to play massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) based on the traditional arts and mythology of ancient China. The new version will include many new features, additions, and enhancements to gameplay.

One major new feature is the country-to-country battle system. Players will now be able to become citizens of a country and participate in that country’s history, even become king! Of course each country will have a Premier, Census Minister, Treasury, and the necessary support structure to allow battles, wealth distribution, and indulgences from the king.

The new version also adds 8 more quests above level 30, and, as suggested by our user base, players can now change their title at any time while keeping their old ones in inventory. For novices in the game, we’ve created special “no PK zones” in Sulin Garden and Stone Forest. More flexibility is being allowed to the players in terms of their ability to customize their appearance and their weapons.

In addition to these major upgrades, there are also many gameplay enhancements and fine tuning of the various systems. Experience points and drop ratios for the bosses have increased, and adjustments have been made to the rules governing monster spawning times, the economy, and various player attributes. Many new and useful items will also make their appearance in the item mall.
