Quest

Quests are (mostly) missions from the various NPC's of the world of kung fu, that send the player searching for another NPC, or some items, or to kill a menacing monster or group of monsters. Most quests originate from one of the cities but a few will originate from a NPC that prefers to be outside of the sprawling centers of civilization.
As mentioned before (mostly) all missions come from NPC's. The exception to this rule are the popup quests that occur while moving near monsters. A random event, these popup quests contain a few lines of text where the monster wants you to do something for them and two choice boxes. One choice will give you a reward like extra exp or money, the other will give you nothing. After you choose unlike most quests you have nothing else you need to do. Even if you chose to not kill the monster and was awarded the bribe money, you do not lose money or reputation or anything to then go ahead and kill it afterward.
[edit] How to tell if a NPC has quest available:
NPC's with an available quest can be seen in two ways.
- First is via your mini-map. When a quest is available to you that is currently still not accepted a green circle with an exclamation mark "!" will appear where the NPC is in correlation to your current location. When a quest is completed and ready to turn in that green circle will change into a brown circle.
- Second is on your main viewing screen.A startable quest will appear to have, while a NPC with a completable quest will appear to have a green circle over his or her head with a yellow scroll inside it.
